The KORE Board of Directors is comprised of highly experienced business professionals with extensive direct management of fast-growing telecommunication and technology companies in North America and Europe.
Richard Burston – Chairman
Richard Burston, a successful entrepreneur and private equity investor, founded Regency Capital International Limited, a London-based merchant bank in 1991. From 2002 to 2004, He was the CEO of Bostream AB, following Regency Capital's purchase of a majority interest in the company. He built Bostream into Sweden's leading independent broadband ISP, prior to selling the company in late 2004. Before founding Regency Capital in 1991, he was employed by Morgan Stanley. Mr Burston, a Canadian citizen, has a B.A. in Economics from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Alex Brisbourne – Chief Executive Officer
Alex Brisbourne has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, in Europe, North America and Asia and is a General Partner in Aegis Management. He has served as General Manager for Microcell, the Canadian GSM mobile operator; Senior Vice President of Wavetek Wandel Goltermann, the leading test systems developer, based in North Carolina; and as President, International for Gandalf Technologies Inc. He has extensive experience in wireless, enterprise and fixed line services and sits on the Advisory Board of a number of technology companies in the USA and Canada. Mr. Brisbourne is a Member of the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Gary Graco – Director and Company Secretary
Gary is a senior partner in the leading Melbourne accounting firm of NexiaASR Pty Ltd. specialising in business valuations and assisting clients with acquisitions, sales, mergers and divestments. His 30 year career includes several years with a 'Big 4' accounting firm and a lengthy period in industry before joining the firm in 1996. With experience spanning stockbroking, audit, investment, litigation support, insolvency practice, financial consulting and general management, Gary adds a thorough and practical understanding of special demands placed on growing businesses.
Shane Murphy — Vice President and General Manager
Shane Murphy is the Vice President and General Manager for KORE Asia-Pacific. With over 25 years experience in the Australasian mobile data and communications industry, Shane began managing Mach Communications in 2006, which was then acquired by KORE in 2011. Shane previously served as the General Manager for Vodafone South Australia. Shane's extensive knowledge of mobile communications, commercial two way radio and transport industries serves as a valuable asset when consulting with M2M customers and partners due to his insight and experience from the perspective of both a business user and a wireless network service provider.
